The results indicated the successful production of activated carbons of surface areas higher than 1400 m2 g-1.

Annotation of Alkaloids of Fusaea longifolia and Evaluation of Anti-Plasmodium Activity in vitro and in silico

The alkaloid fractions of Fusaea longifolia showed high anti-Plasmodium activity and moderate cytotoxic activity. Through characterization via liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and using molecular networks, these fractions proved to be promising sources of isoquinoline alkaloids. Based on the molecular docking approach, these alkaloids demonstrated inhibition potential against target enzymes of the Plasmodium falciparum parasite.
