A 47ª Reunião Anual da SBQ foi realizada na cidade de Águas de Lindóia-SP, de 22 a 25 de maio de 2024. Durante o evento, a JP-SBQ foi responsável pela organização de um Workshop, uma Sessão Temática e da 2ª Assembleia JP.
The 47th SBQ Annual Meeting was held in the city of Águas de Lindóia-SP, from May 22 to 25, 2024. During the event, the JP-SBQ was responsible for organizing a Workshop, a Thematic Session and the 2nd JP Assembly.

A 46ª Reunião Anual da SBQ foi realizada na cidade de Águas de Lindóia-SP, de 28 a 31 de maio de 2023. Durante o evento, a JP-SBQ foi responsável pela organização de uma Sessão Temática e um Workshop. Nesta edição, também ocorreu a primeira Assembleia JP.
The 46th SBQ Annual Meeting was held in the city of Águas de Lindóia-SP, from May 28 to 31, 2023. During the event, the JP-SBQ was responsible for organizing a Thematic Session and a Workshop. In this edition, the first JP Assembly also took place.

O presidente da SBQ durante o biênio 2022-2024, Prof. Romeu Cardozo Rocha Filho, realizou a abertura e apresentação dos participantes da Sessão Temática durante a 45ª Reunião Anual da Sociedade Brasileira de Química (de 28 de Maio a 02 de Junho de 2022).

Workshop inaugural da JP-SBQ
JP-SBQ Opening Workshop
Em 2019, durante a 42ª Reunião Anual da Sociedade Brasileira de Química (27 a 30 de Maio, Joinville/SC), foi realizado o 1º Workshop JP-SBQ, no dia 27 de Maio. O tema do Workshop foi “Jovens Pesquisadores: futuros líderes nos setores acadêmico e empresarial”, sendo especialmente pensado para agregar temas voltados aos pesquisadores em início de carreira e ao mercado de trabalho na área de Química. Nosso evento inaugural contou com 74 participantes de diferentes níveis acadêmicos, desde graduandos até professores, de todas as regiões do país.
In 2019, during the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Chemical Society (May 27th to 30th, Joinville/SC), took place the 1st Workshop JP-SBQ, on May 27th. The Workshop theme was “Younger Researchers: future leaders at the academic and business sectors”, specially planed to congregate topics that are relevant to researchers in early career and to the labor market in Chemistry. Our opening event counted on the presence of 74 participants from different academic levels, since undergrad students to professors, from all the Brazilian regions.
A palestra de abertura foi proferida pelo Prof. Dr. Carlos Henrique de Brito Cruz, Diretor Científico da FAPESP. Contamos, ainda, com as presenças da Me. Marina Rocchi Martins Mattar, Diretora de Relações Institucionais e Sustentabilidade da Associação Brasileira da Indústria Química (Abiquim) e do Dr. Guilherme Julião Zocolo, pesquisador da Embrapa Agroindústria Tropical. Após as palestras, tivemos uma rodada de discussão com os palestrantes e o público presente, além da apresentação de três trabalhos desenvolvidos por Jovens Pesquisadores, durante a seção de flash presentations.
The opening lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Henrique Brito Cruz, Scientific Director at the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). We also had the lectures of MSc. Marina Rocchi Martins Mattar, Institutional Relations and Sustainability Director at the Brazilian Association of the Chemistry Industry (Abiquim) and Dr. Guilherme Julião Zocolo, Researcher at Embrapa – The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. We also had a discussion section, and three flash presentations of younger researchers.
Para a realização deste evento, contamos com o apoio das seguintes instituições: American Chemical Society (ACS), Elsevier, Associação Brasileira da Indústria Química (Abiquim), Embrapa e Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), além dos pesquisadores Profa. Dra. Vanderlan S. Bolzani, Prof. Dr. Adriano D. Andricopulo, Prof. Dr. Paulo Cezar Vieira, e Prof. Dr. Norberto P. Lopes.

No decorrer do ano de 2020, devido à pandemia de Covid-19, os encontros precisaram ser reinventados e adaptados ao ambiente online. Diante da impossibilidade de se realizar de forma presencial a Reunião Anual da SBQ e, consequentemente, o Workshop de Jovens Pesquisadores, a JP-SBQ passou a organizar encontros online para discutir os mais diversos temas com convidados muito especiais. During the year of 2020, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the meetings had to be reinvented and adapted to the online environment. Facing the impossibility of holding the SBQ Annual Meeting and, consequently, de Younger Researchers Workshop in person, JP-SBQ started to organize online meetings to discuss the most diverse themes with very special guests.
