SBQ Regional Offices

Brazilian Chemical Society has 22 chapters or regional secretaries spread out over the country. The regional secretaries' board of directors consists of a secretary, a vice-secretary, and a treasurer with two-year tenure. These positions are elected by effective members registered with their respective secretaries.

The purposes of the regional secretaries are to divulge the SBQ and serve the members close to the covered regions.

Some secretaries organize regional events, lecture sessions, seminars, etc. either solely or as a team.
