The “Sociedade Brasileira de Química” – SBQ, founded in July 1977, is the leading chemical society in the country and is devoted to the development and consolidation of the Brazilian chemical community, to the dissemination of chemistry and of its important relations, applications and consequences to the development of the country and to the improvement of quality of life.
Química Nova
QN was the first scientific journal launched by SBQ in January 1978 and its publication has been maintained uninterrupted since then. It is aimed at publishing articles of original research, reviews, high education and history of chemistry, in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Journal Of The Brasilian Chemical Society
